At the invitation of Hanoi Medical University, doctors from ƽ participated in the Thesis Defense Committee during the graduation defense ceremony for students in the French-language intensive medical doctor training program (AUF Program), cohort 2019–2025. The participating doctors included:
• Dr. Erwan Debuc – General Director & Chief Medical Officer of ƽ, Committee Member
• Dr. Ha Phan Hai An - Department of Nephrology, Committee Secretary
The two doctors, along with other committee members, evaluated the quality of the theses and the French language proficiency of students.
The French-language intensive medical doctor training program (AUF Program) was developed from the French-language medical training project, in cooperation with Hanoi Medical University and the Francophone University Association (AUF), under an agreement signed in 2005. According to the university, the program has trained 20 cohorts of students to date, contributing to the enhancement of foreign language skills and international integration for young doctors. In the 2024–2025 academic year, eight 6th-year AUF medical students were eligible to complete and defend their graduation theses in French.
Speaking about the event, Dr. Erwan Debuc shared: “We are very proud to accompany Hanoi Medical University in its activities, contributing to the training of a new generation of doctors who are not only highly competent but also proficient in foreign languages. ƽ is committed to continuously strengthening our collaboration and will continue to support students on their professional development journeys.”
For many years, ƽ has maintained a close partnership with Hanoi Medical University. Doctors from various departments participate in teaching the French-speaking medical program at the university. In addition, the hospital provides internship opportunities for both medical and nursing students, helping them gain practical experience in a modern, professional, and European standard medical environment.
